Do they have them in the LA area? I'll be heading back down south soon, and I still need to try this McRib.

Well I can't even find those up north. Hopefully San Diego has the Angus at least.

A while back, I had a conversation with my dad about the vaguely disturbing nature of the McRib. At Christmas, he remembered our discussion but had forgotten my hesitations about the preformed patty. So he brought me a McRib. It was, I must admit, delicious, and less gristly than the last one I'd had.

You know you're enjoying questionable foodstuffs when "less gristly" is a compliment.

The bun is remarkably bun-like too.

The two I had weren't gristly at all. They were very soft and juicy. I used to think they tasted like spam in bbq sauce (in the 80's), but they do not. The fresh onions, pickles and non-Mcsweetened bun are a nice touch.

I actually know nothing about this sandwich except the fact it's "back" and apparently that is a very big deal to some (very sad) people. Also, it is meat sculpted in the shape of a rack of ribs so it can't be that bad, right?

AWESOME THE MCRIB IS BACK!!! BIG DEAL!!!!!

I tried a McRib yesterday. What a letdown. What kind of meat is that supposed to be? I think it's made out of the same goo they make fake chicken nuggets out of. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good. Stick some actual meat on there and you got something.

Something you can get on pretty much any corner in TX, by the way.
