I hope this isn't wrongly placed in classic menswear, but given that it's double-breasted and with lapels...

Does anyone know where I can find this Steve McQueen blue jacket? A closeup of the label seems to say Ha Ye P,

I think that's a vintage double-breasted French chore coat, probably bought through a second-hand source or dealer. You can sometimes find them on eBay or Etsy if you search for "French work jacket" or "French chore coat."

You're an absolute, GENIUS sir! After a long rabbit hole -- the closest I could find was this Beams Plus jacket. Which of course, I cannot find at any vendor. :(

Yea, that specific retailer closed. They were called Unionmade. Located near me and very much missed.

That's the single-breasted version, which I find easier to wear. You can buy them new from Vetra, Le Laboureur, Arpenteur, Old Town, and Le Mont Saint Michel.

Personally, I think those look best when they're old and tattered, which means buying second hand. It's hard to get that kind of fading and worn-in look otherwise. You can find vintage versions on eBay and Etsy. Some vintage stores, such as Butterworths and Wooden Sleepers, also have loads of them. Here are their Instagram links:

The double-breasted version, as seen on McQueen, is harder to find, but you should be able to locate one through a specialized dealer such as Buttersworth or Wooden Sleepers.
