    Hi guys.

I did a search, but didn't see any relatively recent threads.
I might be going to Berlin with some friends in early October.
Are there any recommended stores or artisans I should look out for?

and while we're here, I'm open to tourist/restaurant/beer/etc suggestions as well.
It will be a very short visit (2 days or so).

    Thank you.
    -W.

Check out Quartier 206 for Tom Ford, Attolini, Boglioli, RLPL and Loro Piana etc. I just went there last weekend, they got a nice selection of MC right now.

One of my favorites is mientus, though they're rather fashionable. Some TF, Zegna mainline and Brioni.

For smaller artisans, it's hard to tell, because there are just so many.

    Hope this helps a little.

Chelsea Farmer's Club is a nice shop

Regarding food you must try the "Currywurst" together with a beer - get it at Konoppke!

I recently had dinner at Vau, it was good but not cheap. If you want to do some people watching go to Grill Roya for steaksl or Borchardt for the schnitzel.
In case you have any opportunity to get in, the Soho House has a nice terrace with a pool.

Patrick Hellman on Kurfürstendamm sells Attolini, Kiton and their own brand, allegedly made in the same factory as Attolini.

If you visit Chelsea Farmer's Club (you may very well be disappointed), also check out British Clothing Berlin next door; MacIntosh, Boglioli, Belvest, Mabitex etc.

BTW, does anyone know where to find Caruso and Borrelli in Berlin? Those who, according to Label Finder, carry Caruso don't have much and Borrelli is nowhere to be found as far as I know.

And as for tourism, I suggest the Humboldt Box at Unter den Linden. They have a pretty good model of what Berlin looked like around 1900. It has changed a bt since then.....

For shoes I would go to Schuhkonzept, von Truschinsky, or others on Bleibtreustrasse. For shopping stuff I would go to KaDeWe as well.

    Looking for quality RTW shoes?
Luwig Reiter has a store there.
I have their shoes and am very happy with them.
