I’ve been on a bit of a RLPL kick this month, and found this:

100% cashmere suit. Retailed for $7995.

ignore the length in the photo above - it’s not that short if you take your usual size.

Here’s a closeup of the fabric:

I would love to get it. But even at discount it’s hard to justify when I’m still working remotely.

One thing I’ve realized is that if we do eventually get called back to the office, I’m going to double down on MC.

On a related note, how fragile would a 100% cashmere suit be???
The cashmere that RLPL uses for the suits is fairly hardy.

This is a luxury item, in which I doubt you will be doing heavy labor. I would not worry about the suit’s wearing out in a normal seasonal rotation (eg, worn every other week during the cold weather months). I say go for it.

Are they now made in-house, or still by Isaia?
Before the pandemic, they started their own workshop for RTW in Carrara / Massa. It’s a hotbed for skilled tailoring hands since d’Avenza gradually stopped operating independently there (Cucinelli acquisition). Lots of highly trained tailoring employees reside in the region and it became a bit of a hub as a result of that.

Where to buy a high end navy sportcoat inside the EU? I pay 24% vat on thearmory and everything outside of the EU

Is the rubinacci rtw worth anything? I don't see it ever mentioned anywhere on this site.

Liverano has this rtw jacket on his site. Is it worthwhile?

I forgot about these guys:

I like https://lundochlund.com/

It’s a small store in Stockholm. They carry Ring Jacket, which I really like.

I like these two secondary-market stores in Italy:

I've been looking for a DB navy blazer (2 patch pocket) in the US and surprisingly haven't found much. I've been looking online instead. The one at Spier Mackay doesn't look good on me (possibly due to my sloped shoulders). Cavour has jetted pockets . The Armoury is out of most sizes. I've been considering Poszetka but I don't know much about the quality. I was even considering Alan Flusser but I have had poor experiences with MTM.

Can you do MTO through the Armoury?

Anglo-Italian sells one. Michael Jondral has something from De Petrillo.
