I knew Foster and Son were closing their RTW business, but it seems that now even the bespoke portion is gone. That's a real shame - they were the best bespoke shoemaker I've tried, and I'm going to prize my pairs from them even more now.

I'm still curious to hear who was Nob's fitter and lastmaker. :hide:

Who really cares if he's telling the truth or not?

Considering that we have yet to see a real picture of DWW in any of his own commissions, this kind of prodding is pretty distasteful.

Is it not strange to make up stories about how you use bespoke tailors and shoemakers?

I'm not here to judge strange. This is the internet. I assume the 32% of what I read is the truth, 49% is embellishment and 19% is outright fabrication. At least that's roughly the ratio for what I post.

No one here owns any actual bespoke.

It's a bunch of guys drinking Starbucks in cheap denim.

(But they are wearing purple patina'd oxfords while doing it - elegant).

Do you have any proof of those claims, or do you just make things up like you did with that stupid reddit post?

I was only asking you who made your last at Fosters. That seems like a pretty normal question?

Anyone can tell that you're just being pathetically passive-aggressive. You ask pointed questions like this only to me, as you did in the past. Here's my response: I'll answer your questions once you prove that you actually own and wear bespoke yourself - because everyone has yet to see that.

Nobody here believes your question was genuine curiosity do they? I mean it’s blatant that you don’t believe him and were trying to prove that he was lying.

I only ask because you've shitted on people about how they're cheap and unwilling to spend more on clothes, about how people wear cheap clothes from China, and how you use bespoke tailors. It feels like it's all an act, which is why I asked if you actually do use tailors and shoemakers. It's not that I think using tailors or shoemakers actually matters; it's how you've used it to create a persona.

Steed has posted a photo of them cutting one of my coats.
