Yeah, agree on the jackets. I wonder how they are doing since (I assume) being separated from Brooks Brothers? They used to make the Italian 1818 suits at least. Are they still part of the group that just lost Brooks?
I liked this piece:
Houndstooth single-breasted coat - Easy - FW PREVIEW | Lardini
The long single-breasted coat has a fastening with four buttons plus an extra. The coat is unlined and has patch pockets on the sides and a central vent on the back. The single-breasted coat features raglan sleeves and is made of exclusive fabric with a hwww.lardini.com
I'm not so keen, but then my taste is very much Anglo-Ivy, I don't suit the Italian stuff. Open patch isn't something I've seen on an overcoat before
Like the look overall, but yes, the patch pockets jumped out at me (not in a good way)
Yeah, the patch pockets on an overcoat were weird. Prefer handwarmer pockets myself.
I like patch pockets on a Polo style overcoat, but the combo or raglan sleeves and patch pockets seems weird to me.
If you were to have just one linen overshirt - would you choose dark brown or navy colour?
If just one, Navy. Brown is the strong second
