Their big store at Connecticut & M is still open here in DC along with their Mall store.Interesting - thanks for posting this.
BB Canada is in liquidation, and everything is around 80% off, with a few exceptions.
Maybe they are converting to a coffee chain - probably higher margins. 😉Pass by the old BB store the other day, some kind cafe there, surprise the BB logo is still there
Ralph Lauren did the coffee thing.Maybe they are converting to a coffee chain - probably higher margins. 😉
That was a nice space. I do miss the old BB - they did excel in certain categories like shoes, and even winter outerwear.I work by the BB on 6th Ave and I think they actually expanded their footprint to take over the vacated space next to them.
I started buying from them in 2007. Loved the Fitzgerald cut in the 1818, especially the ones made by Lardini. Had a salesman that knew what I liked and would email me when stuff dropped. Still have an Inspector Clouseau-grade BBF trench coat. That was a nice space. I do miss the old BB - they did excel in certain categories like shoes, and even winter outerwear.
Looks like Mashburn does coffee as well.Maybe they are converting to a coffee chain - probably higher margins. 😉
