But seriously, it’s a difficult coat for a tailor to pull off well. Mine did a good part of his apprenticeship in Tuscany so was well acquainted with the style and cloth. I‘m meeting him in Paris on Saturday to do a Casentino jacket. That is a more non-traditional commission so we’ll see what happens.

P.S. Gentleman’s Gazette has a pretty darn good write-up on Casentino coats. Be sure to check it out.

It's amazing to me that it's possible for DWW simply to lie about someone's tastes and get away with it. So now we can just post random photos and misrepresent people?

He doesn't seem to have a problem with finding fake photos and attributing them to other members on this forum, so I wouldn't be surprised if he can pull more out of his rabbit hat.
