Well, we have all been edge of our seats. Those of us who have nails have bitten them...those like DocHolliday who do not have nails have paced.

They're here:

But, where oh where are the metal toe taps? Even junior members know that without that tap-tap-tap sound while one walks, it's almost impossible to announce your superior status unless you wear a cowbell (he is missed.)

Here's a diagram of the terrain of Frisco:

Add to the fact that Poo is a foot drager, and also his many years of ballet training: what of his rond de jambe à terre?

Tell him what to do.

What's wrong with a thumb tack under the toe? (That's the way Sterling Hayden rolled).

Kicking the downtrodden masses requires a sure footing. I'd go for the taps. Plus, it will leave a pretty impession behind.

I prefer the little brass brads. That is why I have them. Not a fan of the taps, nor the painting on the bottom of the shoo.

Please note that my soles are not painted either. No blackened soul in these parts.

I suppose you're too uppity to have specified inset rubber toe taps like guys who slum it with Vass MTO get.

I am startled, I confess, that you didn't get metal toe taps made from nearly pure 22K Indian jewelry gold. Gold taps more quietly according to teh tepdoc...and it doesn't rust.

The tap bothers me too, but unless you walk on marble a lot or something like it (which I used to do in the EEOB), it's not that noticeable, unless like a ballet dancer you are always on your toes.

Believe me, the other crap is worthless. Won't slow down wear by as much as a minute.
