He's one of those guys who knows what works for him, and doesn't overdo it. I wouldn't put him in the same class as guys who end up on Sartorialist, 99% of which secretly obsess over every detail but try to look like they don't.

FYP As for Matt Lauer, I agree 100%. To me, the biggest give away that someone actually cares about the way they dress is their pant length and shoes. He always has the perfect amount of break (hardly any) and great looking shoes....can someone ID them?

I think I read somewhere that he wears a lot of Zegna. I agree that he dresses well, putting most of the other TV dudes to shame.

I will say that sometimes I think he looks a little too conspicuously faux-talian. A minor complaint.

he stands out, but I think he needs to put a little more color in his style.

I bet he doesn't stray too much from the Ferragamo/Santoni mold. He just has good taste. There are 300 ugly Ferragamo models and 10 good ones, he has enough taste to pick a good one.

I could be totally wrong, he could be a closet Styleforumite

Matt used to wear a lot of Zegna. In the last year+ he has been wearing Cucinelli on his travels and weekends and a lot more Borrelli recently on the show. His tailoring is getting much more Italian, but he wears it well and keeps in great physical condition. I believe he is a runner.

You can always count on Lauer to look good. He wears Zegna mostly. I don't know about shoes. Even Lauer's casual gears are nice.

whenever I turn on NBC Today I make a point of seeing what he wears. His wife is Annette Roque, an ex-model.
