Material in Suit Question

I recently bought a Boglioli cotton K suit at Bergdorf here in NYC.
The material is a combo of Cotton and PL.
Can anyone confirm what PL stands for, if this is either polymide or paper-yarn or polyester?
Does this detract from the suit quality?

Actually, I now think the tag reads PI, which according to the list you just posted would translate into - Paper Yarn
What exactly is that?
