Am I correct in seeing this picture as (from top to bottom) B10, A13, B14? If so, I am in for all 3 (b12 feels a little duplicative, but what do I know). 9cm width, longer length for tall and wide self. What is the longer length? and what is the estimated delivery time? Thanks

There doesn't actually seem to be a big difference in scale between the A's and the B's here (if these reproduce the fabrics, please confirm). Each individual diamond is slightly smaller than the rosette, but the the spacing seems nearly the same.

The A, incidentally will look like a diamond as in the below pic?

The patterns in the brown and the green ties above are straight, whereas the rust is on the diagonal. This appears to be the opposite of how the swatches appear for the poll.

Can we assume therefore that the swatches in the first post should all be rotated through 45 degrees to get an accurate picture of how the ties will look?

I like it better this way anyway.
The neats look neater.

That's what it looks like to me. As for the blue ties, I voted for some of the brighter, medium blues (A6, A7, B5, B6) since I don't have anything similar in my collection. And Ian's tie does look awesome. But im pretty content with the options available.

Any hint about what the shorter of the two lengths will be?

I'd be very happy if it's Panta's usual 58 inches.

Sadly, that wouldn't work for me.

You could always shorten the 58" with a double four-in-hand. Assuming you were hoping for a shorter length, of course.

Also bearing in mind that an unlined madder only 8cm wide does not have much thickness, so will tie longer and make a small knot. But the standard length works fine for me - 5'11", 17" collar. I usually tie a Pratt/Shelby as I prefer the symmetrical look, and I've even gone Windsor when there's a more formal spread collar to fill.

True, but the knot will be bigger of course.

I'm 5'9" with a size 15 collar. You can see the problem.

Cheers,

Ac

Edit: Just read Mimo's comment about the thickness of an unlined madder, for which many thanks.
