I think my dream team right now is B10, B14, and A13, but B12 is an awesome tie and I'd happily grab B12 and A11 instead of B10 and A13.

When you cut any cloth against the bias, the fabric will twist in the same direction as the weft. You see this in, for example, vintage jeans or reproduction jeans. it's become a "feature" in some repro denim brands. (as an aside, a lot of "heritage" construction methods are actually valued for their history, and are objectively not as technically sound as modern methods and materials.) I don't imagine that a twist in a tie is a desirable thing.Well I sort of understand what Cappelli was saying now... it seems that bias IS preferable for ties. Springier and more wrinkle resistant that way?
So I got it backwards. The original pictures I sent to Cappelli (A and C) WERE on the bias. When I rotated them 45 degrees, they became non-bias, and thus less preferable for a tie. At least that's what I gather from @Academic2 's post and the Cappelli email text.
Either, way I think those rust ties are great looking. I'd buy A13 or B12, though leaning towards A13 in that diagonal layout
What did you vote for, is the real question.Voted and subscribed. Looking forward to this happening.
You can't. You could have voted for multiple options, but only just the once. How can you vote more than once?

A13 and B12 for me
A13 would be better if the pattern was printed diagonally
Like this. I think Ed already made a tie like that though. Any chance of a re-run. Diagonal prints are almost always better than horizontal
The smaller pattern would definitely be improved on the diagonal.
I assumed they'd be on the diagonal.
