1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

@Kent Wang any reason the umbrellas are $25 more this time around and international shipping costs significantly more than on your site? I still purchased one, just curious.

It wasn't feasible from a margin perspective to list them at the same price as before. Sometimes we can take a bit of a risk on a new product, but we weren't able to continue selling at that price.

It's natural to want the item to be sold closer to a price point it was in the past, but this is still a reasonable deal considering Kent Wang's items never go on sale. If you want one of his umbrella's this is likely going to be the best deal you will find outside of a rare showing on eBay.

Agreed! And (if I do say so myself) one of the cool things about this is that you can design your own - you can pick the canopy/handle option, many of which are not sold on the KW site. To me, that plus the fact that they're less than on his site is pretty compelling. Of course, I already have one but those are my thoughts.

Sorry, missed this! Agreed that Saphir brushes aren't the highest value. I'll keep my eye out for other options though!

We were able to update the international shipping costs - they're much more reasonable now.

Awesome! Since I'm already in on the drop how will this affect what I pay?

We don't collect payment until the drop ends, so you should be taken care of :)

Also, for those that are interested, the J. Fitzpaztrick monks I mentioned earlier are up on the site!

^Not in the market for single monks, but I strongly believe that if these were brown calf or suede oxfords they would sell extremely well at this pricepoint.

Agreed! A few months ago we did JF's Magnolia, a captoe in some basic colors and sold around 120 pairs I think. We just want to make sure that we don't tire out that style, since we've done it twice now.

Madison (penny) or Laurelhurst (wholecut) loafer next time. Will sell like hot cakes.

For those that haven't seen it, here's the link. These are made at the same German factory that produces those super crunchy knits for Drake's, so we're excited to offer them at such a great price here. Many thanks to Jay at Knottery NYC for helping us out with this one!

    edit: dat crunch

Lovely ties - if only they were a touch wider. 2.75inches or above.
