Depends on which last. *Most* are true to size, but there are a few lasts that run a half-size longer.

I think they run a little long, my pair are probably 0.5 size to long. (especially in the toe box.)

Which model are you looking at? Size in other shoes that fit well, in your opinion?

As all Italian makers Martegani has their own unique idea of which number corresponds to which shoe size.
One rule that served me well over the years is never to assume that Italians mark their shoes in UK sizes.

I've had a different fit with my Martegannis. A Monk strap felt like it was a 1/2 to 1 size larger than it should have been, and a simple shell cordovan wingtip was perfect.

I sized down one half with a Martegani shoe on the 3B last and it's by far my best-fitting and most comfortable shoe.

I was looking at the boots for sale in this thread...I don't have a lot of 'high end' shoes, the closest would be AE's in a 10.5 D and they fit great....
