Hello, I am contemplating buying a pair of Marsell Stag Leather Boots.

As per: https://www.google.com/search?q=marsell+stag+leather+chukka&client=firefox-b-d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiglI2hkpLjAhUHTcAKHb3NCfUQ_AUIESgC&biw=1280&bih=607#imgrc=fHH1gH1JYQeUvM:

I am slightly worried about the thickness of the soles - although I won't be wearing these every day. I wondered if anyone knew whether these can be resoled / has experience of this type of shoe's durability full stop?

Many thanks :)

I am highly doubtful that these shoes can be resoled. The soles look glued and are made of a highly porous material, which will wear quickly (albeit being probably very comfortable) and will likely resist any replacement sole being glue on top. That's definitely a buy, wear and enjoy and then dispose when worn out type of shoe IMO
