Yeah, the cigarette-branded clothing thing hasn't done too well in the US in the last twenty years...

Don't think "Marlboro Classics" is in any way connected to that other Marlboro. Little research found this is a subsidiary of the Valentino group. I've seen their stores here, but I haven't gone inside to look. Their stuff is almost if not all casual wear, with an emphasis on denims and jackets.

It is kind of cool stuff, but you're right, no U.S. dealers listed apparently.

I do wonder if that has anything to do with the restrictions on cigarette advertising. Maybe they're not owned by Phillip Morris, but they certainly portray the same image as Marlboro cigarettes strives for and it could be that they would run into trouble selling these clothes in the states.

It could also be that they've licensed the name and the cig company uses this line as a way to continue portraying the western lifestyle associated with the brand without having to buy advertising directly related to cigarettes.

Marlboro classic have shops covering most of Europe, and are reasonably popular in Scandinavia at least, where they have their own stores as well as being in department stores. The status the brand has here similar to for instance Gant.

I purchased a pair of hand made trousers off ebay last year, and for the price I can't complain. However, I've gained some weight, and will have to sell them. Try typing in Beverly Hills Bizare, and this entity has both a retail and online presence.
