I am interested in picking up a jacket from M & S, but I have never bought from there before. Is their jacket sizing standard or do they run large like most North American dept store lines?

They don't seem to have much in the way of codes...do they have Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Pre or post Xmas sales online?

    Thanks

Whenever I've bought M&S, sizing has usually been what it says.

They always seem to do a post Xmas and January sale. Probably not Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc, those are US things. They sometimes seem to be reduce the prices of individual items though, probably end of lines.

Would someone recommend / approve this for a first business suit? Is it PLAIN enough?

This is an M&S Pure Wool - Price of Wales Checks.

Is this approved for a first suit? I know usual guide says solids and even through it says PoW checks, I am wondering if it can go down for a business/ interview suit?
