Thanks Blog Marley. I gave the DSM Store (London) a call last week but they said they had cleared all their MH stock and were waiting for S/S. Wasn't clear if they stocked Mainline or MHL, I had assumed Mainline.

I checked Fenwick, they have very little stock. They had out some AW13 jackets and coats in their Sale along with the Pea Coat from AW14. Don't get to excited Fenwick are not known for generous discounts on their menswear.

Happen to remember how much the pea coat was?

The Pea Coat was something like £530/£550. They might be further discounting towards the end of the Sale but as they had some AW13 stock out with the same discounting I wouldn't get your hopes up. The Pea Coat is quite fitted across the shoulders, I found I could not wear it with jumper underneath – other problem is the sleeves run long on it. They could obviously be shortened but would not be an easy job as it's very heavy fabric. The fabric looks almost identical to the fabric they used for the AW13 Car Coat but I think it's a better coat as it's fully lined.

I already have that sweater, it's from a couple of years ago.

Nice to I can now order from US site, just $66 for shipping + taxes!

There are several other items in the regular MH section that are on sale and not listed in the sale section.

Ah, thanks for that! I picked up this jumper in M and L to figure out sizing. I tend to go M on lighter knits and L on heavier knits. Curiously, it's from AW12.

If Any of you were wondering, I found the archives of past seasons on the Margaret Howell Japan site. Here's that knit from the lookbook. It looks rather different than the MrP photo, so we'll see how it is in person.

I also recently picked up a fair isle knit from AW10, and it's glorious.

Hey Zissou, How is the fit on the fair isle? I asked the seller for some measurements and it sounded like the chest came up small so I passed on it. Which was surprising as MH is usually generous fitting.

It's just old stock Mr Porter have not sold, they tend to drop past season stock into the end of Sale, although I'm surprised they had so much. Mr Porter US and UK have the same stock but we don't have any of those items on the UK site.

There should be measurements for the Saddle Crew on Mr Porter (they have very accurate product info), you can also find info on the MH web site. The Saddle Crew doesn't really change - alhtough the summer version is mixed with cotton. They are not heavyweight, they are quite fitted and I found my winter one tightens up a bit in the wash. Def. hand wash this one.

can size up one for a more relaxed fit. I assume the quality doesn't change much from season to season either? If so then I probably should've gotten like three of the saddle necks and made blankets out of them.

They are a MH staple. The pattern doesn't change, just the colours:

The winter version is 70% wool, 30% cashmere; however it's also available in 100% Cashmere at about twice the price.

The summer version is 53% cotton, 47% cashmere.

The quality looks up to the usual standards, but this for me is one of the most formal collections I've ever seen from MH.

Some good looking outwear, but most of it I think I could pass on.

The DB Sheepskin looks almost identical to one they made a few years ago.

Looks like they've dropped the Shirt Blazer

is it me or has the proportions changed? Slimmer shoulders and looser trousers?

You mean the other way around? Shoulders look wider and trousers slimmer to me. I agree with Ike that it looks rather formal. Some of the outerwear looks great, but that's really the last thing I need more of at this point.
