Hi all, I've been lurking for a few months here but still not fully acquainted with the etiquette here so please bear with me.

I came across a fantastic pair of leather boots from BB, here is a link: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Vintage-Leather-Boots/MH00043,default,pd.html

Seems to be made well, was a bit annoyed that the customer service reps could not tell me what was beyond the description but did claim they had a dainite sole.
1) Does anyone have any insight into which bootmaker BB is working with? Rep could not tell me for proprietary reasons.
2) The antelope leather is indeed beautiful and unique, do other high-end bootmakers use this type of leather? Would there be a need to care for them differently?

Thanks. Any insight into this pair of boots (or BB branded boots) would be sincerely appreciated.
-D
