Manton outsells Mary Cheney

I've just checked amazon.com,
Our friend Manton (Nicholas Antongiavanni) is outselling Mary Cheney!!!!
Today he ranks #4245 to Ms Cheney's #4266.

Well done Manton.
Allegedly Ms Cheney got an advance of US $1million.
I presume Manton's advance must have been higher.

Running neck and neck with Ms. Cheney in the 4000's is unlikely to be cheery to either publisher (BTW, with a $1 miilion dollar advance, did she at least get to put pictures in her book?)

i can't imagine mary cheney's book earning back its advance. hell, i can't imagine anybody buying the damn book. she says nothing beyond pissing liberals because they're in favor of gay rights while praising the hell out of her odious parents.

In the sort of volumes you are talking about a couple of copies either way makes a big difference, today Mary is at 2,749 and Manton is at 5,552. On the otherhand on Wednesday I seem to remember Manton was around 2,500.
