1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

My experience is to buy a half size up if you have even slightly larger than width "D".

I will definitely give them a look. How do they compare to Vigottis?

Hmmm, on a scale of 1-10, Vigotti would be about a 2 and Mantellassi a 9...

Are they the ones with sewn-on labels or Mantellassi written in script?
The sewn-on label is the 'lower' line, so the speak, and should be priced accordingly, I think.

    That said, any 9 1/2?

In my experience, Mantellassi fits 1/2 size small if you are in the upper size ranges (say 11 and up.) The marked size is only good if you have an ideally shaped (and probably narrow) foot.

Sounds like they're way overpriced. I'll pass.

Pass on the Vigotti's or the Mantellassi's?? That was a scale of quality. The Mantellassi's aren't overpriced, they are a great deal at retail, and a raging deal at Lance's prices.

I'll pass on the Mantelassis. Usually quality correlates to price. So, on your scale, you have the Mantelassis more than 4 times higher in quality. So, if their suggested price is about 4 times the Vigottis, that's way out of my range. Even at his prices, they're expensive shoes. I just don't see paying that much for shoes. I want to have something when I retire.

Spend a little more time here and soon you'll be thinking that $400 is a steal for a good pair of shoes. Â [IMG]

I recently picked up a pair of Mantellassi's for fifty bucks. Deals can be had, and Lance is offering a good one.

On a scale of 1-10 with Stacey Adams being 0, Vigottis would also be a zero .... Yikes. Â [IMG]

    Ahoy. The pirate shoe ....
You'll have to buy the curved shoe-trees to keep 'em pointing up like that, I expect.
