Hello all,
I really appreciate the time everyone puts into these threads to share a fantastic range of knowledge!

I just moved back home to new york from Europe and want to find someone I can build a long term wardrobe with. My style is simple and classic, blues, beige, browns, some twees with great cuts and quality. I have a thin frame (165lbs) so precise cuts are absolutely critical or the whole thing falls apart.

At the moment I'm looking to redo my wardrobe and start with a fantastic and flawless navy blue suit as the base (my favorite) something with great cut but no big lapels or anything fancy. I'm 32 in a finance startup and all of my clients are at least 10 years older than me, so I need a solid suit that I LOVE but won't scream for attention.

I met Manolo last week, and liked his stuff. 2200 usd is a high price for a suit for me and the most i will have ever paid, but I'm willing to if it means I get a great suit to last me years. I'm wondering what other's experience has been with manolo and if there are suggestions of other places to try if I'm willing to spend in the range 1500-2500.

Thanks for all of your input!!

Hi, thanks! Although that link seems to be regarding tailors for alterations, whereas I would like to make a suit :)
