I call bullshit.

First, I know for a fact that Goldman bonuses are not out yet.

Secondly, no i-bank pays an odd number like $772K. Its typically done in increments of $50K at the VP / Principal level (which is the level this guy is pretending to be).

Perhaps if he received carry payouts if he worked at Goldman PIA he may receive an odd total comp figure, but carry payouts are infrequent (and he specifically said this was 'bonus').

Just some bored third-year analyst having some fun I think.

Both statements are incorrect, although the second is closer to the truth.

1) GS numbers were out last week
2) Although generally in increments of $25k, comp numbers - especially this year because of stock component - can sometimes be odd numbers. Happened to me and others.

Doesn't mean that the guy or the ad (which I cannot access) are real of course.
