1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Everything sounds good there except for the "imagine a Nolan story with Snyder effects" part.

    Yeah, +1

Nolan's story-telling can get a little heavy-handed at times and don't get me started with Snyder's effects. I am glad to hear about it not being all that sombre/serious though.

I really hope he's well done but I feel like I need to see it to believe it. I never liked Zod and would have much preferred someone else as the villian (Intergang maybe?) and maybe Luthor in the background where he's seen in a somewhat sympathetic light.

I didn't recognize Cavill when he was cast as Superman.

Then I remembered he played the son in the Count of Monte Cristo movie with Jim Caviezel and Guy Pearce.

    Damn, he got ripped.

David Goyer wrote the best Batman franchise, so let's hope that Zack Snyder can execute the vision.

He also wrote Blade Trinity, The Unborn, Jumper, and the last Ghost Rider movie. He has done plenty of good movies, but his track record isn't exactly flawless.

Whatever happens, I have a feeling Shannon's going to be great in this.

Lookin' good ... but he really needs the trunks.

Shame they went with the overly busy detailing ... If they'd kept the original design, but done it in the colors and texture seen here (maybe slightly brighter yellow for the shield), they would have nailed it.

I think it's too textured. Wish they would have scaled that back too.
