I'm getting married in a few weeks, and while I have good skin, my fiancÃ

thought it'd be good for me to get a facial before the wedding to make sure I'm looking my best for pics and ****. Are there any good spots in NYC that focus on men's treatments and aren't too feminine? I understand that's practically an oxymoron, but if anyone knows a good location that wont cost a fortune or impugn my manhood, let me know!

Men and women both have skin, skin is not a female organ, facials don't have genders. Just get it at whatever spa your friends recommend. Not being worried about what spa will "harm your manhood" is the most manly thing you can do. What kind of ***** freaks out about whether or not going to a spa is going to change them? Seriously. I long for the day all this bullshit is aside.

I bet you have some moisturizer or face soap that says "for men" on it, which is composed of the exact same ingredients as the "women's" version except has some extra scent in it and comes in a black bottle instead of a pink one so you can feel manly while using it. When is this going to STOP and people just start realizing that the vast majority of products don't need genders.

If you actually think the facial you'll get at a "man spa" is different than whatever you'd get at a regular spa, you're being delusional.

It's funny that you are concerned about the emasculating effects of a facial and yet you are only entertaining it because a woman is telling you to (ie, you are already emasculated - no need to worry about the facial).

No forcing, just a suggestion that I thought was good. I'll take it you're not in a serious relationship?

Just go in and get one done and you'll be wondering why you never had them done on your own. Depending on the spa, she might even give you a mini shoulder/hand massage... the whole effect is very relaxing.

You could try the Peninsula Hotel ESPA.

The Art of Shaving Barber shop is always an option. I know they offer facial treatments, though I'm not sure if they offer facials proper.

Maybe New York has a Trufitt and Hill.

I would go into that Nickel recommended above.
