I have read The Tipping Point and am trying to get through a couple of books that have been sitting on my desk.

Anyone who has read both care to comment on his new one?

Blink is just a retread of his previous New Yorker articles. If you've read his old articles, you'll notice that he will try to fit all these different articles together to make a certain point. It was disappointing in the sense that I had wished he had done some new research, and given us updates to what happened to the people he profiled years ago for his articles. Its style is similar to the Wisdom of the Crowds, but I found Wisdom of Crowds more interesting because it didn't feel like I had already read it before. If you want, I could give you the gist of the book so you don't have to read it.

I thought it might be along those lines. Â For those interested, you can read his New Yorker articles on his website New Yorker articles I might just check it out of the library or wait for the paperback.

He was in Minneapolis last night for a reading and signing. My wife and I went - he's quite a fascinating guy, and his book raises some intriguing ideas, even if you don't buy the entire argument.

I just read some of his articles from his site. Is "Blink" just those articles already available on his site?
