I did some searching and couldn't find a thread that necessarily cleared this up for me. Is a 'two-button rolled' the same thing as a three-button that has been made into a two-button? The reason I ask is that I have a blazer/sportcoar which has perfect length/shoulders/material/color, but is a 3-button and looks awkward to me when paired with jeans/open-collared shirt, which is how I would like to wear it. The question is, can I simply go into a tailor and say "I would like this made into a 2-button?" Will I constantly have to get it pressed/will it start to look awkward? I realize the obvious solution is to buy a new coat, but I really like the material/color and would not mind there being a blatant button-hole on the collar if that is part of a normal rolled jacket anyways. Any advice?
