Just bought a used Luciano Barbera sport coat. What is a way to tell who the maker is? Have heard there are several possibilities: among others St. Andrews, Attolini, Partenopea, and Caraceni. It does have the red label which says "collezione sartoriale" and "hand made in italy".

    Thanks.

These are the only tags. Note the dark red ribbon taping, which is on some of the seams. It does have the silk twill lining material which my Attolini coats have. But maybe other makers use similar stuff.

Did you look for more than half a second? There are hundreds of posts in that thread re: suits and sport coats. There are even examples of Luciano Barbera Collezione Sartoriale, including on the first page. That's where you should be searching/asking. Good luck.
