Title says it all. A delightful little shop in Piccadilly Arcade, London. It was like something out of Dickens. Shame

Was it not the shop at the left-hand corner of the Piccadilly Arcade, on the Piccadilly side? I bought a "brush-cleaning" brush from them once (Kent). They had a very good selection of brushes of all kinds, razors (but I have a beard....), very convenient. May I dare hope the OP is wrong?

Yep, that's the shop. Just passed it today. Windows are empty of stock. To be sure, I read the note stuck to the inside of the door. Not just closed for refurbishment. Definitely gone. Lear

No 7 - Somlo Antiques has also gone, Benson and Clegg were using it for extra window space.

EG on Jermyn St was shut for refurbishment over the weekend. I hope that is all it was.

Yeah it has gone sadly - passed it the other day and was going to poo in and buy some DE blades as I always used too and all the stock was gone from the windows and the said note on the door. Really sad to see such a wonderful little shop bite the dust.

I am really hoping that is some kind of British slang.
