Hey guys

Just copped a pair of Kathryn Wilson boat shoes http://shop.carolinesills.co.nz/inde...art&Itemid=192

Love the fit but was wondering whats the best leather conditioner and cleaning solution I can get to maintain these fresh ?

I've read on Sufu that people use obenaufs for their belts. Would they be ok for shoes or na ?

Thanks !

I dont treat my boat shoes with anything regularly. Everyonce in a while I may apple a coat of mink oil if its looking like it needs it.

ok forget treating and obenaufs... How about cleaning? Coz there some droplets of soda/stain on it

so according to your logic if i dont like what you like its not constructive? kiwi will work just fine on inexpensive leathers. yes, your welcome.

Boat shoes look badass after a season of wear on the sea. They get that awesome saltwater induced fading.

Boat shoes are meant to be beat the hell out of. It sounds like you are trying to treat these as your top of the line 'church' shoe. What a herb thing to do.
