Has anyone really checked out this store or bought anything from it? It has me a bit interested, though I wonder how good the construction is on their footwear and suits.

Eh, I don't want to have to register on another forum, especially one where they are Nazis who don't accept Hotmail accounts. (My ISP's email service is complete ****.)

From what I hear they are great. Every thing is cut in a late 30's to 40s look. So the sleekness and modern tight fit that many people like in sf may not want. If you want the classic vintage look than go for it. I was a member of the fedora lounge, still am but they wont email me my password when it switched to .com from .net. I'm really ticked off they wont email me my password because the lounge is full of great and to say the least very passionate people. Anyways I had read that specific thread weeks back and Magnoli is very worth while.

I love how they put up wrinkly pics of their suits on a dude that is too small for it:

I did read the review posted on TFL and it looks like an all right suit, though I think fused (historically inaccurate

That's what I'm concerned about. I don't want to buy a fused suit if that's what it is.

Magnoli also posts over on the Indy Gear website. I was over there to get more information about the look and fit of the Alden 405 Indy boot (BTW, if you ever need any information about the clothing and equipment used in the Indiana Jones movies, Indy Gear is your site - a passionate group of fans who seem to get along pretty well). I think Magnoli has a boot similar to the 405, which is part of the reason he was posting at Indy Gear.

Problem is we had too many people coming in with different identities... three Hotmail accounts and four Yahoo addresses and one user. So we have a rule. One account per member and we try to enforce that rule by only allowing company or pay accounts.

Thanks but... did you really have to revive a 7 month old thread?

I noticed you posted a pic of Sailor Mike on AAAC. I know (knew) Mike from a few years ago when I went jitterbugging more frequently...I'm sure you also know Jeff Beauregard, Tip, Holly, Peter Loggins etc..

While many forums have that rule of protection, there is always the possibility of emailing the admin and asking for a manual overide.
