Magnanni: Quality of current offerings (circa 2013)

I just aquired a pair of Magnanni Miro double monks via a return/exchange at Nordstrom. While I didn't pay anything for these per se, I did pay $320 three years ago for the too-big Santonis that I exchanged for them. On first blush, they seems like pretty nice shoes, and built to a standard similar to other shoes in the $325 range. What do others that have experience with their recent shoes think? I've read mixed reviews on their older shoes, and from what I can tell, their current offerings far exceed the style and quality of what they were selling 6-7 years ago.

As long as they are comfortable thats the most important. I had a pair and they didnt really fit me well as they were too narrow for my feet. They are really stylish and edgy but definitely not conservative and more trendy.
