I first saw a pair of what were billed Magli by Bruno Magli in Nordstrom recently, and figured they were to Bruno Magli mainline what Studio is to Ferragamo. However, the construction didn't seem appreciably worse on these vs. the mainline, and the price point was considerably lower than Studio. What do you think of these, stylistically speaking:

Less-than-first-rate leather and construction are things I'm willing to acknowledge and accept, but I need a pair of black walking shoes for a two week trip to Europe that I can wear for pretty much everything, and will be comfortable to walk in. My first choice is usually Prada, but I can't seem to find a style I like, and Tod's don't fit me. Again, while I'm sure there are better quality shoes out there for the money, I'm asking opinion on aesthetics only, given that these will be paired with anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a dress shirt and blazer for dinner.
