Magenta as a mans color?

Does anyone here ever wear magenta, either in a shirt or otherwise? I recently got a shirt which was a shade of magenta. Thoughts on this color?

While I'm not fond of the shirt.. magenta can work in the right combination of color / skin tone.

I don't see anything wrong with magenta per se, but I wouldn't wear a solid magenta dress shirt. Pink, yes. Magenta, no.

I don't think the shirt you posted is offensive and I would not even raise my eyebrows if I saw someone wearing it -- unless, of course, he had the top button buttoned.

IN all seriousness it is not as bad a magenta as that coat. I would call it "crayon red"

I think that Magenta works well on a man I wear it with Grey and it looks good.

On most men, that would be too much 'magenta.' The striped nature does not help the authority factor. Think instead of a secondary stripe or maybe the collar only. Yes, technically it's not true magenta, although that's the closest standard name for it.

Seems to me that magenta is a "cooler" color and would look good on someone that is fair complected (winter) and dark hair. Contrasting and cooler colors usually do.
