Madris Tie?

So I was recently given a madras tie from my father. Easter is coming up and I thought this might be a new look to try. Thoughts about wearing one with seersucker pants (light blue), white shirt and a navy blazer? (This will be at a rather conservative place in the South, if that matters). I can try to find pictures if that will help.

Sounds like that outfit would work just fine. I have a madras tie which I usually pair up in a likewise manner. Let the madras be the bold piece and keep everything else pretty conservative. Actually the one neckwear item I get the most compliments on is probably my madras bow tie
