Hillary Clinton left her job when her husband went into office. Should she have waited 11 months until December to recieve her bonus? Like the Clintons really needed that extra money.

By your logic, I suppose you should also quit buying products from countries that have similar plans - bye bye england, france, germany, etc.

China is still available for you. Why don't you go and buy some chinese-made shirts at Old Navy - that'll REALLY stick it to the man!

Kent Wang pocket squares, cuff links, and ties are made in the USA.

I do this for several reasons: 1) to support the local economy, 2) produce better quality, and 3) better control over the design and manufacturing process.

Over the past year, I have purchased the following US-made items:

1. Footjoy shoes from golflocker.com - pretty decent US made dress and casual leather shoes, often at steep discounts due to closeouts or blemishes (pretty hard/impossible to find the blemish).

2. Thorogood boots - very nicely made and look good

3. Belts from llbean.com (have to look to make sure they are US made, some are, some aren't) and from naturalreflections.com (decent belts for chinos, etc. for less than $20)

4. b'ella argyles from sockdreams.com

5. Slim fit jeans from texasjeansusa.com - very nice, US made for less than $30 per pair, about the same as you would pay for a sweatshop department store pair.

It isn't too hard to find quality products made in the USA if one would choose to look.

But just think, we'll be helping the people that contribute the most to this country yet need the most help, like Latrica Ryan, stay-at-home mother of ten. It's good to raise taxes on the top 5% who only contribute 50% of federal income taxes. Certainly not their fair share! I wish we would cut taxes on everyone, regardless of income, and end ridiculous food stamp/medicaid handouts for those who haven't worked a day in their lives and simply pump out children, handouts in foreign aid (which first-world Israel gets the most of to continue their illegal and ridiculous warcrimes in the Middle East), bailing out industries that caused their own problems (ie: the Jewish bankers who get bailed out of the mess they helped create) and the auto industry so the scum Unions can continue to have their members get paid 80k salaries with great benefits to work on an assembly line.

Also Custom Hide (briefcases/bags), John H. Daniel (does MTM for many small men's shops), American Apparel (t-shirts, etc.), and Robert Talbott BOC ties.

Can't really add to these many good brands, though you should be aware that if you buy USA-made, you might end up having to pay a little more, since you will be supporting those nasty overpaid lazy union workers in blue states.

Politics has no place in this thread.

Is TaT's stuff made in the USA, or do they outsource?

I believe Rag & Bone still makes most of their stuff in the US, esp. jeans? I think I read that they were going to use Martin Greenfield for suits as well -- has anyone seen these?

RRL Jeans, at least the construction.
Pendelton shirts, at least the fabric.
White's boots, if you are a smokejumper.
