I know that most Lacoste is made in Peru and China but how much of the line is still made in France.? I ask because I picked up a nice Made in France red line skinny polo. They had that polo and a cardigan sweater both made in France. I have never seen Lacoste stuff made in France sans expensive limited edition pieces and wanted to know if it is rare and is the quality any better?

Were these things you bought used? Because a few years ago, or whenever Lacoste made their "comeback", pretty much everything was made in France. I have a few things from back then. I cannot tell a difference in quality.

When LaCoste made thier big come back (buying back the licenses for other retailors to use thier label) they still made things in France. More and more it's getting moved to the third world. I still have a couple Silver logo and even a few Green logo dress shirts made in France.

I know most Lacoste polos are made in Peru but it looks like they have also move production in El Salvador. I saw more than a few solid color polos made there. Quality seemed the same as the Peru ones.
