Mackintosh Vestcoat

Hey everyone!

I was recently thrifting and I stumbled upon this "Authentic Mackintosh Vestcoat". It was in perfect condition, and I have never seen anything like it. I snatched it off the rack and am trying to do some research on this brand or style of jacket. What would one wear this jacket with? Does anyone own one of these and if so, could you include your personal opinion on when/how to wear this jacket. It is a bit too big for me, so I am thinking about selling/swaping it. I like the style a lot, but I really don't think I have the body type/personality to pull a jacket like this off. Here are some pictures of the jacket

What size is it, please. I have had one for the past 20 years, and am just now wearing it out. Looking for another. I use it for very cold weather, snowstorms, and to walk my dogs on cold winter days & evenings.
