I'm curious, some shops sell machine washable cashmere jumpers and some sell dry clean only cashmere jumpers. Both 100% cashmere. Why are they different as they are made of the same material?

A lot of manufacturers say to dry clean practically everything so they don’t get complaints of ruined garments put through the wash.

With cashmere and wool sweaters/jumpers, I wash them all by hand, then dry flat. It’s not like you’re washing them a lot. Often once a season is enough.

Oh, I usually was mine every 5 wears just because they start smelling quite musty.
