Hand-made are obviously better. You only have to look at some pics of JeffreyD's button-holes to see why

You're asking the clothing equivalent of "What color deck chair is better?" while a passeger on the Titanic.

Hand made buttonholes are nice. I prefer them, but I don't mind machine made ones either.

I don't know which is "better". But I know hand-made ones are much more expensive.

Reflective yellow, obviously. How else are you going to be seen using it as a floating device?

depends on your own preference. Machine done should be more "perfect", where as hand done a tailor has to stitch all those stitches, so there may be some small "imperfections". if you have a button through the button hole, it pretty much covers it up so no one can see it.

Machine-sewn buttonholes are stiffer. It's not just a matter of appearance.

and even so, so what if they're stiffer? does it really make a noticeable difference? would you be able to tell at a distance?

Real luxuries aren't meant for others to notice and cannot be justified to them. I can feel the difference, yes. If you really don't get why these sorts of things matter, you're better off hanging with Andy and Kabbaz.

you dont have to justify luxury by saying they have functional value. what's wrong with enjoying them simply because they cost time and money and good handwork? why do you have to justify it by saying they feel "better"?

please. i'd like to see you survive a double blind test.

i like hand sewn buttonholes simply because i like how they look and in knowing the fact that somebody sat down and took their time with it. i honestly dont see how anybody can tell the difference.

also i'd love to hangout with kabbaz and i can promise him i would spend airplane ticket money on better booze than connyay
