I am interested in the Pro... current Windows user that has seen enough of X to consider switching over.

Problem is, my wife is diehard Windows. I know running Windows on a Mac is now old hat, but are there still problems? Dual boot issues, lag, file conflicts, etc? If that is the case, I'll stick to the pc side, as she would actually use this laptop more than I but she likes the Mac design as well.

Sounds like new models hit the street very soon, so I'll be checking those out.

Windows will run fine - can 't be any worse then what it's running on now right?
Get the mac, show your wife how cool it is. She will convert, and admit you were right.
Erase windows forever.

Windows will run very well under bootcamp. If you use Parallels though (software that runs Windows on top of OS X) then you'll want extra memory installed.

I recently set up VMWare Fusion on my fiancee's Macbook and installed a TinyXP so she could use her windows-only PDF editing software.

Easy as pie.
