Just received my LVC 1947 501's in the mail. They are 32x32 in the pitchfork wash, but to my chagrin are far too small. I can button them all the way up, but painfully. They are not raw, but they are selvedge. Has anyone had this particular pair of jeans / does anyone know if it will stretch?

Yup. The 47 is the slimmest among all (above the knees, 54 has the smallest leg opening). They will stretch a little, but probably not from painfully tight to fit.
