LV bags, fake or not?

I saw two LV bags for an auction review. I'm wondering if they are authentic or not. When I took the photos of these bags, an old lady beside me kept telling me they are both fake...

If they are not fake, what would be an appropriate price for each of them?

The first one:

I can tell for sure that the first one is fake but I need pictures of the outside of the second one to be able to tell.

Both are fake. The leather on the first one looks plasticky and the font/stamping on the second looks wrong, though admittedly the pic is blurry.

I wouldn't buy either one for any price.

With LV, you are never going to get a stellar price on an authentic item unless it's damaged. As such, I'd say if you REALLY have to have LV, save up and buy it from a store or a longstanding member on ebay who deals with mypoupette or one of the other authentication services.

Nevertheless, the savings will never be stellar. A $1000 retail LV bag in excellent shape will probably still be $800 or so at resale. They never have sales, so if you find a bag sold "AS NEW!" for 1/3 or 1/2 of retail, it's almost certainly a fake.

This is one of the best Louis Vuitton sellers on ebay.

fashionphile

They don't have anything listed currently but listings start turning up towards the end of the week. If you're looking for something specific, send a message and they will find it for you at a reasonable price.
