    Charvet.

I prefer Derek Rose, but unless you're getting bespoke pajamas, Charvet is clearly the best and most expensive. If you haven't received this answer yet, you haven't seriously asked the question.

This is a post because I have never received a comprehensive, sufficient answer to this question. For lounging around the house, sleeping, and going to work, I would like my undergarments to be of the highest quality possible, and be easy to maintain as well. For example, I got silk charmeuse bedsheets because they are the softest and easiest to wash. I don't want to wear $20 Banana Republic cotton briefs throughout the day at work. And I don't want to wear standard sheepskin moccasins to bed. Even though sleepwear and undergarments are rarely seen, they form a large part of our lives. In addition, I am wondering if there is any cross between socks and slippers for men. Loungewear can also be included in your recommendations.

Prior to the 1946 International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling, the truly discerning gentleman ordered his bespoke unmentionables from one of a number of small shops in London that specialized in crafting undergarments from virgin whale dork. I cannot say if there is currently a black market in these items (perhaps in Japan or Norway?), but if you must have the best, they do appear from time to time at estate sales.
