Does anybody know if Luxire has changed their standard BD collar? I just received an Oxford buttondown and there's no substance to the collar at all, it feels entirely unlined. Or is this perhaps the standard collar? My previous OCBDs have been made of thicker fabric than this shirt, maybe that explains the difference in collars? I'm not too familiar with the finer details of shirting.

Has anybody ever commissioned a shirt using this fabric? I'm interested in making a western shirt but kinda put off by how much it may or may not shrink. Any advice?

I never machine dry..........it really didnt shrink much at all?.......like at all.

Was it specifically that fabric?

Well I'm thinking about getting it stone washed by Luxire so it will shrink not matter what.

dont get confused, if Lux washes it ,then it will come out the way you want....its built into the fit......


u should be concerned w/ shrinking only after you own it.

Ahh interesting, wash yours stone washed too or raw?

This shirt is washed for the fade. After the wash, there is no more shrinkage. So, you will get the shirt ~ the size you order and it will stay there.

If you order something from luxire in a washable fabric always ask for a prewash.

Hey @luxire - I have sent you a few emails after placing an order for trousers with an elastic waist. Will the waist stretch up to the waist measurement I provided, or will the unstretched waist take that measurement. Hope this makes sense.
