I have tried a shirt with the NOBD2 collar. I like the collar generally but find there is zero tie space so the effect is as in the pic below. Is this standard for this collar. Has anyone tried requesting a little more tie space on this collar? Has it helped?

I don't think I had that problem --- but yes I agree that a little more space would help for yours. Nice tie btw, Marinella or similar?

Thanks called negative tie space and is often thought to be desirable for spread or cutaway collars. I prefer no tie space for spread collars and .5" space for BDs.

Of all luxire shirt fabrics I've purchased, I like the University Blue Oxford & Vista Blue Stripes the most.

Any personal recommendations for comparable fabrics to those?

@luxire is there a better way to get in touch? Email responses have been very slow and I'm trying to figure out how to proceed with my orders on hold awaiting measurements. Got about 10 or fabrics waiting but want to get certain of them ordered soon considering the turnaround times I've been having before it's too late and can't wear them until next fall/winter.

I've never had a pair of trousers w/o belt loops, and using a side adjuster instead.

What are some things I need to consider, if I've already got a reliable fit/pattern with Luxire? Do I just make the swap, or should I think about adding a pleat or making it higher rise or something?

Also, is there some kind of overview explaining what lined/unlined or fused/unfused collars are - and what the pros/cons may be? What is the luxire standard for this?

I am wearing such a pair from luxire now. They fit just right. I think it’s mostly style. You won’t feel the belt either because it isn’t there.
