We have recently created this style of elastic adjusters which are completely invisible. The waist can expand or contract a full 3 inches with little impact on how it actually looks.

In our tests, the buttons were not causing any discomfort on the waist, but, we may still hide them behind a layer of fabric for comfort.

The fabric? This is our new wool-flannel, made from 100% recycled wool, a big step towards making Luxire circular. Doing our bit for the environment, this reduces CO2 emissions by 84%.
Available soon in 3 shades: Light grey, charcoal and camel.

What is the weight on the wool fabric?

How wide of a belt does the standard belt loop waistband accommodate? Would a standard 1.5ish inch denim style belt fit in them?

What is the process to get fade-washed denim? Do I need to reach out to them beforehand?
Looking to get similar fades to below. I assume one is mid-wash whilst the other is a light wash starting from the "Raw Dark Indigo Jeans"?

Inspired by the WWII style chinos posted a couple of pages back I had Luxire make this pair replicating the fit from a pair of trousers I sent to them.
I asked them to base the styling on the images in this Permanent Style article.
They did an incredible job with the styling and the fabric is exactly what I hoped it would be. The fit I’m not 100% sure and I might slim the leg slightly in a future order. It might just be me having to get used to the style and the weight of the fabric though. I’m sure these will get a lot of wear and will only get more comfortable over time.

The fabric and styling look great.
Crompton's leg opening is a fair bit wider than yours (yours looks much better imho). From the side it looks like you've got a bit of extra fabric at the top of the thigh / lower buttocks .
