Regarding buttons: on formal shirts I usually select the premium MOP buttons and on most of the others the thin MOP buttons, as the USD 20 surcharge is a bit hefty and in my opinion the premium MOP buttons look quite flashy and thus don't really work with informal shirts like an OCBD.
I'm not the biggest fan of the standard thick white MOP buttons either, as they mostly lack the typical iridescence of MOP.

Is it possible to source additional MOP buttons for a surcharge? Ideally they'd be a bit upscale from the normal thin MOP buttons, with more iridescence and also a little thicker? Something like the standard MOP buttons from Kamakura would already suffice in my opinion.
Of course I wouldn't mind them even a bit more refined, but most important I'd welcome an option that didn't cost substantially more than a USD 10 surcharge.

Good points. Will work on them.

Has anyone tried the RTW flannel trousers and can comment on fit? I've been considering an order from Luxire for some time, but I'm very reluctant to trust the mail with a two-journey for a pair of good-fitting trousers to copy. I'm concerned the hip measurements lean narrow, which seems common for tailors accustomed to an Asian clientele.

On the subject of buttons, I have ordered many shirts from you guys over the years and am always satisfiedd... but the buttonholes on my last few shirts have been a bit of a disaster. Did you guys change your process recently?

Nothing for now, I presume?
Have you seen these by any chance?
There are a few good ones that you may like. Also nice to send us an email. We have many items in stock that are not documented.

1. For the 2-way journey, we use DHL 2-day service. Most reliable service available in the world.
2. Our American/European/Australian buyers, who add up to 96+% of our customers, usually have no issue with the measurements. Unless your hips are exceptionally our of proportion, these should work for you. There is also a size chart on the product page for a quick check.

No change at all. If any such issue, always good to send us a quick email pointing the same out.
We are always glad to make any required changes to make things better.

Are the listed waist sizes exact, meaning a size 34 measures exactly 34 inches around?

All measurements are exact garment measurements.

Hip measurements were not narrow for the RTW flannel trousers I received. Currently, there is only one style (no slim or contemp option) which is a bit too wide. But the size and measurements are on their website, so check if that matches your good fitting trouser measurements. Personally, I would stick with the custom option, as you can change almost anything, and those fit perfectly. I used the option to measure my own pants and customized the size at knees, hips, thighs, etc.

Just received my latest order from Luxire, ordered a copy of a pair of jeans (indigo raw selvedge) I'd ordered previously and been happy with the fit.

First impressions are they're a perfect replication of the prior pair. All three of my Luxire orders have met my expectations, very happy with the service thus far.

As an added bonus I didn't get pinged for any customs fees this time!

when sending trousers for replication, what are the chances of a wedgie? I had a terrible experience with test trousers, measuring myself, measuring trousers and agreeing to whatever luxire suggested... now I have a very reasonable pattern with different tailor, I'd prefer to order from them, but the Holland and sherry cloth is not available anymore from them... I wouldn't want to get a wedgie on a 400£ trousers...

I had sent a bespoke jacket, a pair of trousers and a shirt for replication and what I have received from Luxire is a perfect copy (in terms of measurements). In my opinion it's way easier to send a pair of trousers that fit perfectly to India to have the measurements taken than to try to do it yourself...

Sure, here's the first pair I received after a cold machine wash and two dozen wears. As far as I can tell the new pair is practically identical.

I appreciate the transition from seat to leg is a bit crumpled, they were adapted from a pattern for suit trousers based on my requested adjustments so I wouldn't fault Luxire for that. As they're a pair of jeans it doesn't bother me at all.
