@luxire I'd love to see a "top 5" most customized/whackiest requests. Would be good for laughs but also could demonstrate just how customizable options are and how skillful your workers are at delivering.
What is whacky about it? I am just interested to see what a shirt collar would look like that is built similarly to the collar on a Harrington jacket.

So, my first experience with Luxire was excellent. These are the trial fit pants in cream which I have just had back from my local tailors to have the leg tapered slightly. What does everyone think about the fit. I am pretty happy but another opinion would be greatly appreciated.

The conservative business dress iGents in here may take issue with the fit and aesthetics. What I would say is if that's the style you're trying to achieve then kudos. At the very least a fabric with more drape would improve the fit.

Got a question about adjusting measurements to trouser orders.
Ordered my first pair, and need the following changes, according to my preferences and my tailor when he saw them:
- 1 inch higher overall rise. They sit more like jeans than tailored trousers.
- 1 inch taken off the back rise: the back rise is 1 inch longer than the front rise so the trousers have too much fabric in the seat and the waistband does not sit horizontally.
- 0.4 inches taken in at the back vertical seam.
- A slightly straighter cut. I don't want to go for the 'straight' option, but would increasing my ankle measurement by 0.5-1 inches give me a less slim leg?

The options when inputting measurements don't let me easily make these changes. How can I convey this information for my next order?

Thank you

I would not try to do it on the website. Order the new pants and let them know you will indicate changes by email. When you receive your new order confirmation respond back, reference your old order number, and indicate the changes you would like.

Hello!
Would need some help for my next pair. From the green trouser lux was supposed to clean up the seat on the new order of the khakis. I'm not 100% satisfied with how it has been made, any ideas to make it better for next pair? Any other thoughts on fit improvement?
All help would be greatly appreciated!

@SartorialStudent that actually looks like a good fit to me, given that cotton only drapes so well. To my eye the green pair actually looked slightly better (less hip?) but could have used a bit more rear rise at the crotch.

Do you mind sharing which fabrics those are?

Thanks for the answer!
Yeah to me as well actually, which is a shame since the khaki ones are the newest. Do you have any thoughts about if one could do anything to fix the new fit or do you think i have to settle with this? Have mailed luxire as well.

This is the olive and khaki trial pants!

About to order my first pair of pants through them. How high of a rise are the dress pants in standard vs the high rise dress pants? I definitely want them to be higher rise and am just curious about the rise on their various styles. Same with their chinos? What's the rise like on them?

One of the trousers ordered during the BF sale made of cavalry twill wool (stone) from EThomas, straight out of the box:

I'm stunned with the drape of this fabric, because it feels lightweight and I wouldn't say it's 14oz heavy. When it comes to color of the fabric it's rather on the warmer side of the scale.
In fact, this is the kind of rise I am looking for. What option would I choose for this kind of cut? Is this the high rise pants?

No idea, actually. I measured my well-fitting trousers some time ago and then adjusted the fit (this is my fifth iteration if I'm not mistaken). If it helps, I'm 186cm (6,1 ft) tall, the front rise is ~13", back rise is ~18".

You must also know this photo was taken from above and proportions may be biased. They sit on my navel.

On my most recent Luxire order I have a front rise of 12.5" and back rise of 18.5". Will be taking in the back rise from the waistband in the next order but happy with the front rise. For reference, I am 6'6" and the trousers sit at or just above my navel.

Interesting. And what option did you select when you were picking them out? Was it the high rise dress pants option?
